Son of Donald and susan dow of myrtle cottage, bankfoot. in the 1881 Census donald snr. is living at "fungarth", Caputh. His father, thomas,born at Logierait, Perthshire, is 71 and a farmer of 36 acres of arable farmland. His mother is Margaret, 62, and the listed children are - donald aged 31 and unmarried, and Thomas aged 17 and also unmarried. These three were all born at Caputh. I think there is also a branch of the family (Robert aged 55 and his family), living at Milton Of Tullymet, Logierait. Robert is a farmer as well, and was born in Blair Athole. Donald, aged 31,is the father of the following Donald who appears to have married late in life.
