"Coupar Angus Soldiers Killed"
"Private George Gray, 7th. Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, nephew of Mrs Mann, Sidlaw View, Coupar Angus, has been killed at the Front. Deceased spent his boyhood in the burgh, and was educated in the Public School.
It has been officially intimated this week that another of Coupar's sons has been killed at the Front -Private Adam Dow, son of Sergt. Dow, formally Instructor of the Volunteers at Coupar Angus."
