There seems to be some confusion over James.  There are three reports of the death of a James Kennedy in the Blairgowrie Advertiser ( 21st August 1915, 2nd September 1916 & 28th August 1917).  This is the family of the latter in the 1901 census.

There are no other Kennedy families, at that time, living in Blairgowrie ...
