Pethshire, and Mary Lawson Reid.
Extra information:-
In the 1881 census Robert, a gardener/domestic servant and family are living at Kincairnie Lodge, Caputh, Perthshire. He was born in Auchterarder, and his wife, Mary, was born in Lochee, Forfarshire (now on the north-east edge of Dundee), as was 11 year old Robert. His brothers, John L. 5 years, and George L. 3 years, were both born in Glasgow.
There is a slight discrepancy in the age of Robert. In the 1881 census he was listed as being born in 1849, but the monumental inscription indicates he was born in 1852.
1891 Census
The address on CWGC site is for Auchterarder. It is possible that, in 1891, the following family is correct. Two children have the middle initial L (Lawson?)
There are also Reid families in Auchterarder, but not with parents Robert & Mary.
