"Cargill Man Killed"
Official intimation has been received of the death in action on 9th May of Peter M. Scrimgeour, eldest son of Mr. James Scrimgeour, Balhomie Farm, Cargill. Deceased who was only 22 years of age, leaves a widow and two children, who reside at Auchtermuchty. At one time deceased was driver in the H.Q. Coy of the A.S.C. at Perth. At the outbreak of War he was employed as a ploughman with Mr. Webster, Grange, Newburgh, and enlisted in the Seaforths'. He went to the Front in January.
