Miss Agnes Young, William Street , Blairgowrie, has been informed that her nephew, Private George Young, Gordon Highlands , has been killed in action at the front. Deceased, who belongs to Blairgowrie, was the son of the late Mr. James Young, mason, William Street, joined the Gordon's when a youth, and served in India and Egypt, and on his regiment coming home, they were drafted to France, where they have since been actively engaged. No details are to hand further than that he died half-an-hour after receiving his wound. Deceased was 26 years of age.
